Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Silken Volume 2/3D.
With proper aftercare, Silken Volume 2/3D lasts about two to three weeks before a fill is recommended. Individual retention varies by natural lash growth, oil exposure, and maintenance. Regular infills every two to three weeks keep volume full and seamless.
No, when applied by trained technicians using proper fan technique and quality adhesive, Silken Volume 2/3D minimizes stress on natural lashes. Follow aftercare and schedule infills; improper application or neglect can increase risk of breakage or premature shedding.
Initial full sets usually take 90–120 minutes depending on desired fullness and eye shape. Touch-up infills are quicker, typically 45–60 minutes. We evaluate lashes before starting to give an accurate time estimate based on your customized design.
Avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Gently cleanse, brush with a spoolie, avoid oil-based products, and sleep on your back. Proper care prolongs retention and preserves the soft, fluffy finish.
We generally advise against mascara, as it can clump fans and shorten retention. If absolutely necessary, use a water-based, extension-safe mascara only on tips and remove gently with oil-free remover to avoid adhesive breakdown.
Avoid getting lashes wet for the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours to allow adhesive to fully cure. Afterward, be gentle when cleansing and avoid oil-based products to maintain bond strength and prolong wear.
